Tang Dynasties In Studying Monk Study

The development of China's feudal society of Tang Dynasty has reached the peak in all aspects of culture in those days. Tang Dynasty is the most powerful country in the world and her reputation and position has widely influence on neighboring countries which admire Tang Dynasty, Japan is the most eminent one of those countries.Japanese Buddhism learn from Tang Dynasty to seek the essence of Buddhism culture and the process is completed by the monks studying in Tang Dynasty. This paper discuss the background of the monks studying in Tang Dynasty, the chosen and reception of two countries about the monks studying in Tang, the overall situation of the monks, the mode and route of the monks entering Tang, and living condition after entering Tang. The meticulous studying about Eight Famous Monks Into Tang is also discussed.In fact, those monks study widely and the studying lasts a long period. They study Buddhism and carefully research culture, legislation, architecture arts, music and other aspects of culture. Therefore, when they return home, they have deeper influence on Japanese society. The influence of the monks returning home is varietist, and this is also the focus of this paper. The paper has very important academic and practical significance to the promotion of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange.
