Friedrich von Schegel (1772—1829) is the leader of Early Germany Romantic, the maker of romantic literature theory, his poetic thoughts had an important impact on the whole Germany romantic literature, aesthetics, art, and so on. Meanwhile, in the history of Western poetry poetics, F. Schegel has a original spirit in poetics, because his poetics is rooted in philosophy and has gone beyond the field of poetics, up to the realm of philosophy of existence. This is that, in the increasingly rational modern society, F. Schlegel is eager to the infinite, achieve it by poetry and art and religion, by which the foundation of life is established. This paper is based on F. Schegel's poetic works, attempts to research the background, principles, contents and characteristics of Friedrich von Schegel poetics, from the combination of poetry and philosophy.
