Michael J Sandel,a contemporary famous philosopher in the United States, is an important representative ofCommunitarianism.He profoundly criticizes the ethical value thoughts of Rawls that justice has priority over good, on the basis of which, the ethical value thoughts that justice is inherent in good is formed. The thoughts are deep and have extensive influence.The textual structure constitutes introduction, four chapters and peroration. The introduction mainly introduces the purpose and meaning on researching into the ethical value thoughts of Sandel, and the domestic and international research condition and development trend.Chapter 1 investigates the background and theoretical origin of the ethical value thoughts of Sandel that justice is inherent in good and clarifies the historical inevitability about its emergence. Meanwhile, the text historically investigates the inner relations of justice and good, looking for the theoretical support for the argument of the text.Chapter 2 goes deep into summing up the ethical value thoughts that justice has priority over good on the basis of critics. Sandel treats the composing ego as his foundation of ethical value thoughts, constructing the ethical value thoughts that justice is inherent in good.Chapter 3 mainly studies the critics that Sandel makes over the ethical value thoughts that justice has priority over good. The main judgment dimension includes the critics about original state, difference principle and the contract doctrine and shows the special feature of its own theories in the process of judgment.Chapter 4 evaluates the theoretical value of the ethical value thoughts of Sandel and goes deep into studying the realistic meaning that the ethical value thoughts that justice is inherent in good bring on our socialism modernization construction.
