Students Sleep Quality Status And Hypnotic Intervention Effects

In this research,college students were studied for exploring the sleep qualities and the effect of hypnotherapy for sleeping improvement.First,the sleep qualities and it's influence on health were studied in a questionnaire survey with PSQI and WHOQOL-BRIEF.Second,in the psychological intervention part, the participants with sleep problems were distributed into three groups.The participants of two intervention groups received psychological intervention in two different state of consciousness respectively and the participants of the control group received nothing. Through analysis of the scores on PSQI from participants of three groups before and after the interventions,some important outcomes are just as following:(1)Among all the number of college students with sleeping problems is 85,accounted for 13.3%.(2)Sleep qualities of college students have been influenced by many factors.The sleep qualities are significantly different among students in different grades and different fields of study,and sleep problems are not significantly different among students in other classification variables,such as sex etc.(3)Except SOCIL in WHOQOL-BRIEF, there are significant diffierences between students with better and worse sleep qualities in the other fields(p<0.01).(4)There are significant differences among many factors in PSQI(p<0.01),such as sleep time and sleep efficiency.(5)There are negative correlations of vary degrees between PSQI and WHOQOL-BRIEF;The aggregate scores,the effect of sleep and the hypnagogue can predict PHYS;The functional disorder can predict SOCIL; The aggregate scores and the effect of sleep can predict ENVIR;All the ANOVAs show significant regression equation(p<0.01).(6)Recently, here are remarkable effects in intervention in hypnosis state of participants to improve sleep quality,sleep latency,sleep efficiency and the whole situation of sleep.And there are remarkable effects in intervention in consciousness state of participants to improve sleep quality and daytime dysfunction.The results show compared with the results of intervenors in consciousness state of participants,the results of intervenors in hypnosis state of participants are better.(7) In long range,there are remarkable effects in intervention in hypnosis state of participants to improve sleep quality,sleep latency,sleep disorder and sleep efficiency.And there are remarkable effects in intervention in consciousness state of participants to improve sleep efficiency. The results show compared with the results of intervenors in consciousness state of participants,the results of intervenors in hypnosis state of participants are betterFrom above,the conclusions are just as following:(1)Sleep problems are one of the common problems in college students,the sleep qualities are not same in students in different grades and various fields of study.(2) Sleep problems are closely related with the function of physiology,psychology and society. Compared with the students of better sleep qualities, the students with worse qualities show the same worse in the physical, psychological and social function.(3)Psychological intervention can improve the sleep qualities of college students.(4)Compared with the results of intervention in consciousness state of participants,the results of intervention in hypnosis state of participants were better both in recent and in the future.
