On The The Dilthey Aesthetic Life Aspirations

As one of the greatest German philosophers in the late 19th century, William ? Dilthey has a wide range of different thoughts. He is considered as an encyclopedic scholar, who has been praised as a "the most important thinkers in the late 19th century", or "Newton in the field of humanity". In the modern history of Western Aesthetics, Dilthey's aesthetics carry forward the importance of aesthetics and then have a profound impact on its later developments. To some extent, without Dilthey's understanding of aesthetics, it is impossible to correctly understand the modern western aesthetics and its development.This thesis analyzes Dilthey's aesthetic ideology from the perspective of"life". In the first chapter, the author starts from the etymological point o of "life", pointing out that Dilthey's life concept is not only of biological significance, he also includes the inner spiritual and psychological aspects. It is life of the human spirit in the social history and culture. In addition, on the preliminary analysis of areas of life, the aesthetics of its three core concepts of life, that experience, expression, understanding are minor analyzed. Experience is to know, expression is to emerge, while understanding is to further explore. At the same time, make sure that the experience - expression -- understanding can be regarded as a basic noumenon connection.Then, combined with Dilthey's description on the poem, this thesis, which takes"life"as its core, further explains and constructs Dilthey's life aesthetics from there aspects, that is, poetry and life, poetry's aesthetic imagination and life and poetry's aesthetic understanding and life. By doing this, Dilthey's aesthetic connotations are further emerged, which makes the key part of this thesis.In the last part, the influences that Dilthey's life aesthetics brings to the Modern Aesthetic, particularly for the existence of aesthetics and hermeneutic aesthetics is discussed, as well as the inspirational significance that it brings to the building of contemporary Chinese aesthetics. Compared with the life of the Chinese aesthetic, Dilthey emphasizes the social and historical life; relative to China's aesthetics in practice and post-practice, Dilthey's life is the integration of individual and society, as well as the natural resistance and social unity, which is beyond the community of aesthetics in practice and individuality in aesthetics post-practice.
