| As one of the greatest philosophers, Dilthey has leaved so much spiritual wealth to us; Life-aesthetics is one of many thought. Dilthey used a method of life experience that is romantic and humanistic construct his life-aesthetics which is far-reaching influence. This thesis’s starting point is life experience, and experience, expression, understanding as a media to interpret the life-aesthetics thought. And discussion on the meaning through the relationship of experience, poetry and life, ask the essence of life-aesthetics that is true and free.The article includes four parts. The first chapter introduces the theoretical background of Dilthey’s life-aesthetics; it is composed of irrationalism, the philosophy of Kant and German Romanticism. The main part is the second chapter and the third chapter, the second chapter is explain the theory of experience, expression and understanding. The third chapter discuss on life, experience, poetry, poet. The last chapter is the influence of Dilthey’s life aesthetics about aesthetics development in western and China. It affects Ilusserl, Heidegger and Gadamer clearly, and Chinese life-aesthetics, the culture of life research and other thinking are influenced too. Apparently.
