Design Exhibition

The event of "Social Energy:Contemporary Communication Design from the Netherlands" sources from the research and exhibition of Contemporary communication design from the Netherlands. It's using "comprehensive eco-style expression" to restore each design projects'context, which let audience to see the true design. The exhibition named "Social Energy" is concerned about the "energy" of the design. It's mainly concerning the contributions that communication design is making and will make to our society. It's my honor to involve in this event as a curatorial assistant. Through describing, collating and analyzing of the event process and effects, and using the meaning of Social Energy's core concept as clue, the researching is mainly focusing on dissertating the social responses caused by this event, and discussing the meaning of graphic designers participating in curatorial practice. It's meaning that the graphic designers how to actively attempt, explore, change and apply the conceptual tool of curatorial to intervene in social and cultural production. Perhaps, what eventually want to represent is through one event to illustrate the ecological and context behind some designs, discussing and designing the proposition of social energy.
