Liezi school is an important Daoist school in Xian Qin. Liezi is a representative of the school, "Lie Zi" is the total set of writings of the school. " Liezi", a book which is famous for "Gui xu" ideology, colorful fable, has great ideological value and literary value. However, "Lie Zi" is disappear after finishing, so Liezi and "Lie Zi" were questioned by many scholar. In the fierce controversy, the interpretation of "Lie Zi" text is weak. In particular, in modern times, "Lie Zi is fake book" is popular with many people, seriously affecting thoughtful and literary studies of "Lie Zi".Based on the above situation, this paper try to research on the authenticity of "Lie Zi" in depth. This article focuses on "Lie Zi" ideological value and literary value. This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter, "Lie Zi" Textual Research. Textual Research of this chapter focuses on four areas:the existence of Liezi in Xian Qin indeed, " Lie Zi" Textual Research on the authenticity, the author of the book, the time of finish of "Lie Zi". Many of the writings in Xian Qin referred to Liezi, can explain the existence Liezi indeed. Liu Xiang's "Lie Zi recount" and Zhang Zhan's "Lie Zi preface", this two articles is the central issue of authenticity of "Lie Zi". This chapter put all the articles in order, to prove the authenticity of "Lie Zi". According to stylistic rules and layout of writing in Xian Qin, we can inferred "Lie Zi" author is Lie Zi's followers. According to related literature, "Lie Zi," should be finished before BC 278 years.Chapter II,the ideological value of "Lie Zi". This chapter focuses on the excavation of ideological value, especially in the relationship between "Lie Zi" and the Huang-Lao Taoism school. Mainly concentrated in four areas:"Lie Zi" is an early Huanglao book, "Lie Zi" and Ji Xia Huang-Lao school, ideological value of "Yang Zhu". "Lie Zi" is the representative of early Huang-Lao school, has a profound effect on Ji Xia Huang Lao school, Its "Yang Zhu" chapter reflects the unique opinion of Yang Zhu, "Lie Zi," has a significant impact in the history of Taoism, too.Chapter III, the literary value of "Lie Zi". This chapter first to generalize the art techniques of "Lie Zi" Fable, and then researchs, the characters of "Lie Zi" Fable and the style of language, and finally summed up the "Lie Zi" Fable's position in the Chinese literary history. "Lie Zi" has a large number of allegories, allegories is the concentrated expression of literary value. "Lie Zi" fable not only to use a variety of artistic means but also to sculpture a wide variety of characters, It's language has unique style. The status of "Lie Zi" is irreplaceable in Chinese literary history.
