In the field of psychotherapy, there are so many different theories, somebody thinks it's good for the growth of paychotherapy, while others have a different idea. Integrating these theories is a right way. Many psychologists have tried, but it's difficult because of so many various theories. Existential and transpersonal psychology already have a good try. But there is still something can be better.Nowaday, the focus transfers from west to east, eastern wisdom attracts more and more people. Unlike western science with the character of detail and analysis, the eastern emphasizes system and integration. It's just what we need to integrate these theories.Pratitya-samutpada is been chosen as a route map to integrate these psychotherapy theories. There are some reasons for it.First of all, Pratitya-samutpada is a precious part of Chinese traditional culture which has a deep relation with human's heart and soul,as well as modern psychology.Secondly, it is an extensive frame which is eoungh to include all these theories and to put each of them in a proper place. The third reason is that through Pratitya-samutpada we can get more than from western psychology. For example, by Pratitya-samutpada, we can see that the unconsciousness can be realized, and we can achieve a higher level.According to Pratitya-samutpada, theories are divided into four parts. The first part is Wuming and Xing which refers to the throties about breaking the obsession of unconsciousness; the second part is Shi and Mings which refers to the theories about t breaking the obsession of c onsciousness; the third part is from Liuru to Qu which refers to the theories about breaking the obsession of body and behavior; the fourth part is from You to Laosi which refers to the theories about breaking the obsession of the environment.By the trying of integrating theories of psychotherapy with Pratitya-samutpada, we want to integrate these theories and make it easier and more convenient for psychological workers to use and research.
