Test anxiety is a psychological state expressed by different degrees of emotional reactions, it is constrained by individual cognitive evaluation capacity,personality tendency and other physical and psychological factors. The test anxiety characterized by worry and actions of defending and escaping, and is activated by a certain test situation.Test anxiety has seriously affected the physical and mental development of junior high school's students, so the intervention of test anxiety became the hotspot of researchers. This study selected the students of Dagang secondary school of Yancheng as subjects. Based on compensating for the lack of previous studies,this study had a series of innovations:(1) This study used Beck's theory as a guide, engaged with cognitive behavior intervention to the students of test anxiety.(2) In the process of intervention we used the DTR form rationally,studyed junior high school students'irrational automatic thoughts about test anxiety.(3) Based on the group intervention we had an individual intervention. On the one hand can make up for lack of group intervention; the other hand, can make a more detailed study, dig out the deeper problem.Based on this, the paper designed three studies:The study one investigated the state of junior high school students'test anxiety,finded out the characteristics of junior high school students'test anxiety and choosed appropriate subjects; The study two engaged with cognitive behavior group intervention,investigated the effect of group intervention; The study three engaged with cognitive behavior individual intervention to 5 subjects, investigated the effect of individual intervention on the basis of compensating for the lack of study two. The results of this study showed that:(1) Test anxiety of junior high school students was very serious.The scores of Test Anxiety Scale showed that: Grade 3 was the highest, followed by Grade 1, Grade 2 was the minimum.(2) junior high school students'irrational automatic thoughts about test anxiety were: mental filter, catastrophizing, all-or-nothing thinking, labeling, "should" and "must" statements,after experiment they could deal with most of irrational automatic thoughts.(3)The group intervention and individual intervention of Cognitive-behavioral therapy on test anxiety are all effective. After intervention ,the experimental group students'symptom of test anxiety are significantly reduced, whereas the students of control group did not change significantly before and after the experiment.
