As the development of the society's economy and the culture, people are not only care of the health of our body without the illness, but also care of the mental health, especially the mental health of junior school students. Teenagers are the future of our country, so people pay more and more attention to the mental health of junior school students. The stage of the middle school is an important period of the whole life, is also the critical stage of our body and mental development from the immature to mature. There are a lot of researches showed that the total mental health level of junior school students is not very good, because it existed many problems what needs to solve immediately.The research is aimed at the junior school students of Qingdao City, and t he study adopted the scale redacted by Zhou Bucheng of the East Normal University《Mental and Healthy D agnostic Test of middle student》(MHT)as the tool, testing the junior school students, using SPSS12.0 to hand the data. The purpose of research is to understand the total mental health level of junior school students in Qingdao City by the test, then it can give some goods suggests to our psychological education.The research shows that the total mental health level of junior school in Qingdao City is better than that of the adults in our country; the total mental health level of girls is worse than that of boys; the total mental health level of middle school students is better than that of the high school students; the total mental health level of the key middle school is worse than that of the normal middle school.The reasons are complex, including four factors:the school,the family,society and individual. In order to solve the problems in the psychological health of middle school in Qingdao City, we should emphasize the following aspects:to strengthen the mental health education and promote the mental health of junior school students; to open and improve the mental health courses to strengthen the mental health care of themselves;to establish and improve school counseling agencies, efforts to establish and improve student mental files;to built the mental health education system between school,family and society.
