Particularities of the professional soldiers often face greater physical and psychological pressure. In clinical psychology, the importance of self-esteem has been widely accepted. A large number of studies have shown that self-esteem is an important factor affecting mental health. Literature review of research on military mental health, mental health already achieved great results, but can also be found in the current study, the mental health of soldiers on the Army's in-depth research is still relatively small. According to research shows that self-esteem is an important factor affecting mental health, also is one of important internal factor, However, Domestic research on this issue were mainly focus on explicit self-esteem on mental health status, problems and solutions, relatively speaking, the implicit self-esteem is how it affects the internal psychological mechanism of mental health is small in research. Therefore, to explore the scientific mental health education model to improve the mental health of soldiers for the military mental health counseling and treatment issues provide a useful reference, Combine the explicit self-esteem.and implicit self-esteem with mental health in-depth study is necessary.Based on such considerations, this study is to solve the main problem:the military's self-esteem structure and the impact on the mental health. Based on this problem and its sub-problems, this study follows several studies designed to explore it. Specifically:The first research is main to study structure of the military's self-esteem. In this study, through the use of open-ended questionnaire Self-Esteem Scale (SES) and the Implicit Association Test (by DMDX software) to measure self-esteem of the soldiers.Study 2:The main problem for the second sub-problems to study the military's self-esteem structure and the relationship between mental health. In this study, we use Symptom check list(SCL-90), Self-Esteem Scale (SES) and the Implicit Association Test (by DMDX software) to measure the mental health of Army soldiers and the relationship between self-esteem.Finally, based on these two basic presentation of empirical research into the relationship between the results of this study some conclusions can be drawn as follows:(I)The explicit and implicit self-esteem was no significant correlation between Army soldiers self-esteem, which also supports the dual structure model of self-esteem and self-esteem of the structure of separation, that implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem are different levels of behavior effect, they are separate structures;(2)In Implicit Association Test(IAT), the effect of implicit self-esteem is significant, so the use of IAT to measure implicit self-esteem within the army soldiers is effective; (3)Overall mental health of Army soldiers is better. In addition to scores of somatization, interpersonals ensitivity symptoms are significantly higher than the national norm for adults, the other factor scores were lower than or close to the norm;(4)the main factors impact of army soldiers'mental health were somatization, hostility, paranoid. Somatization, hostility, paranoid. and other factors can affect other aspects of the army soldiers, ultimate impact on their overall mental health.(5)Army soldiers in explicit self-esteem and mental health was an extremely significant positive correlation, that army soldiers of the higher level of explicit self-esteem, better mental health; implicit self-esteem and mental health was not significantly correlated between each other.
