The opera "Aida" is a splendid and charming artistic work in the history of global opera, and is Verdi's most representative work. It depicts a moving love tragedy in ancient Egyptian, with a grand and spectacular scene, a beautiful and moving melody, and an Oriental sentiment. According to the distribution of arias, the performance types, the basic structure and several typical arias, this thesis analyzes the quartet in "Aida", and then studies and explores the vivid creative technique and singing feature of quartet in "Aida", which could contribute to the evaluation of the unique artistic value.In this thesis, the first chapter presents the plot development and the layout of quartet. The second chapter discusses the creative and aesthetic features of quartet in "Aida". In the third chapter, the author concludes the singing feature of quartet and the qualities a singer should possess from the perspective of vocal singing. In the last chapter, the author presents her own view about the function of quartet rehearsals on opera in practice.The paper adopts a method of combining theoretical research and specific practice, with reference to some musical spectrum cases, from which the author seeks to clarify the important role and function of quartet in opera. Therefore, the thesis has its theoretical and practical significance on singers'understanding in the spirit of "Aida" during their study and performance, and on improving the creation of the images.
