This article will try to find some new understandings of the concept of"Traditions"through the studies of Gong Xian's art works and art theory .It's also combined with my own feelings and experiences in the art learning and art making as well as traditional painting and modern art of comparison. According to these new understandings, our idea ,schema, language, technique, these ancient Chinese painting conceptions should be made breakthrough in order to renewed and transfer the complex"traditions"into magic. Through the cases in the study of modern revelation of a special artist, from a practical point of view, it should be a new starting point. For the artist's art making, it also give us some specific and practical application values.
