ZhangYue (AD667-730) was styled Daoji and also styled Yuezhi. He followed WuHou,ZhongZong,RuiZong,XuanZong and was in double harness, including the court's minister and literary leaders. He occupied important place in both China's political history and literature history. He played a significant part in the course of evolving from early Tang dynasty to high Tang dynasty. This paper made use of relevant materials, on the basis of referring to writings of the former scholars, doing research on the intercourse of ZhangYue and Scholars of the time in order to make an analysis of the relationship between Zhang and scholars of the day, the impact scholars had on ZhangYue, discussing if there was a political faction based on literary between scholars with Zhang as the core. I wanted to probe into the "Literature and Official Struggle" forwarded by WangJian in those years further.In the research on the relationship of ZhangYue and contemporary scholars, the contents referring to Zhang Yue and ZhangJiuling, ZhangYue and SuTing was relatively more than others. But these were also studied from the point view of literature, few dealing with political relation. While in fact ZhangYue had much connection with many scholars in the early and high Tang dynasty and not lack of political affiliation. This paper entered on three aspects, discussing and analyzing the political relation between ZhangYue and the scholars before and after the formation of ZhuYing Bachelor group, after expelling to Xiangyue and before and after the formation of JiXianYuan Bachelor group with the intention of have a more profound understanding of the relationship between Zhang Yue and sholars group, the political influence sholars had on Zhang Yue.
