The Liangzhu Culture Buried Neolithic Shapes Test

Based on archaeological typology, this thesis analyses the materials of stone implement in tomb of Liangzhu Culture by stages and regions, focusing on shapes of the stone implement.The study shows that there are some distinct regional characters in the kinds and shapes of stone implement, especially in the shapes of stone poleaxe. At the same time, different shapes of stone poleaxe have certain interregional relationships of diffusion and influence.The kinds and shapes of stone implement as burial articles in Liangzhu Culture have some close relationships with the grade of tomb, and choice of raw stone material to make a stone burial article depends on its function in a way.The thesis gets a general view on the characters and the developing venation of stone implement in tomb of Liangzhu Culture which may enrich the typologic research of stone implement in Liangzhu Culture, also as a basic work for discussing other higher-level Liangzhu prehistoric social problems.
