Letter To The Aesthetic Dimension,

As an excellent part of Chinese folk culture,letter home is an integrated vector including of history, literature, aesthetics, calligraphy, etiquette, postal and other cultures. Starting from the nineties of last century, the development stretches over three thousand years of traditional letter home, and it began to fade out of sight under the impact of the revolution in the media. On the basis of understanding the previous letter content and features, integrating the evolve of character's media the classic works of letters home which can represent the times, the thesis systematicly arranged the cultural origins of letter home, sorts out the process of letter home. This part focused on analysis of Chinese ancient times letter home's develop stage, confirming its status in Chinese traditional culture and folklore. Arranging letter home's particular locus in letter's development, is furtherance to exhume the aesthetic value of letter home.The second part investigates the aesthetic characters of letter home. The aesthetic value of letters home embodied in the three aesthetic functions, cognitive function or aesthetics, aesthetic education and aesthetic entertainment. Combined with the feature of beauty and the aesthetic value of letter home, we can find that the letter home can not only play a good role in the family aesthetic education, but also good materials both in the social aesthetic education and the school aesthetic education.Part V discusses the relationship between the media revolution and the future of letter home, and analyzes the modern media on the impact of the traditional letter.
