Gaozu Gojong The Yizhou Administrative Agencies During Research

Yi Zhou area is the major barrier for Guan-long regional, so both of the Sui and Tang dynasties had attached great attention to its management and control. From the Emperor Tang Gaozu to Gaozong, the administration of Yizhou region has gone through Yizhou Zongguanfu,Yizhou Dao Xingtai and Yizhou Great Dudufu three stages with the political changing. Researching for the development process of Yizhou Dao Xingtai and Yizhou Great Dudufu, will help clarify the management style and actual results of Yizhou in early Tang dynasty, and then enhance the knowledge of evolution about Xingtai and Dudufu. I based on the previous study results, and then collected more relevant materials and data, by reviewing the development process of Xingtai and Dudufu to research the setting of Yizhou regional administrative,serving officials and the historical significance during the period of Emperor Tang Gaozu to Gaozong.The research of Yizhou Dao Xingtai in the period of Emperor Tang Gaozu and Yizhou Great Dudufu during the period of Emperor Taizong to Gaozong was not abundant enough so far. The existing relevant research results were only focused on exploring the origins and functions of Xingtai and Dudufu, so there is no specific research on the development process and impact of Yizhou Dao Xingtai and Yizhou Great Dudufu emerged, then this paper may be a breakthrough in this aspect. Furthermore, in the course of exploring the development process of Xingtai and Dudufu in early Tang dynasty, this paper raised a new view about the strategic significance and historical status of Yizhou that era, and then will help improve the research of the relationship between political situation and geographic location in early Tang dynasty.This paper based on the previous research results, have discussed the changes of Yizhou regional administrative management agency in early Tang dynasty, by thoroughly researching the setting background,institutional settings and historical significance of Yizhou Dao Xingtai and Yizhou Great Dudufu,appointing a new discussion of the re-positioned strategic status for Yizhou in early Tang dynasty.This should be the innovition of the pape.This paper is divided into four parts:PartⅠ:Reviewing the development process of Xingtai and Dudufu on the basis of previous research, simply describing the emergence and evolution of Dudu Zhuzhouzhujunshi,Zongguanfu and Xingtai, then clarifying the nature and characteristics of Xingtai and Dudufu. By highlighting its randomness and flexibility to provide the historical reference and theoretical basis for the setting of Xingtai and Dudufu in early Tang dynasty.PartⅡ:On the basis of previous research results to describe the geographical characteristics and strategic situation of Yizhou, which indicating the regional advantages and strategic importance of Yizhou. Through the description and research of Yizhou management situation during the late Sui and early Tang dynasty, demonstrating the setting of Yizhou Zongguanfu which was the predecessor of Yizhou Dao Xingtai, so pave the way for clarifying the setting background of Yizhou Dao Xingtai.Part III:On the basis of descripting the setting background and institutional settings of Yizhou Dao Xingtai, by demonstrating the main officials of Yizhou Dao Xingtai year by year, striving to re-produce the true reality of early Tang dynasty. Synthesizing the relative research results of predecessors about the Yizhou Dao Xingtai, summarizing its historical significance and then re-interpretation its political impact in early Tang dynasty.PartⅣ:On the basis of discussing the historical position of Dudufu, demonstrating the setting background and institutional settings of Yizhou Great Dudufu. Synthesizing the previous research results and related archaeological materials, demonstrating the main officials and other officials could be found and ascertained of Yizhou Great Dudufu, by divided into Tang Emperor Taizong and Gaozong two stages to describe the development process of Yizhou Great Dudufu, attempting to reflect the real fact. At the same time, with the demonstration and analysis of the related historical facts about Yizhou Great Dudufu during the period of Tang Emperor Taizong to Gaozong, summarizing its historical significance then re-positioned the history effects and strategic status of Yizhou in early Tang dynasty.In short, this paper reviewed the development process of Xingtai and Dudufu, combinating the geographical situation of Yizhou and the specific historical facts of early Tang dynasty together, examining the regional administrative form and changes of Yizhou during the period since the Emperor Tang Gaozu to Gaozong, which reflecting the setting situation and historical effects of Xingtai and Dudufu in Yizhou area in early Tang dynasty. Although due to my lack of ability and experience, the relevant demonstrations and conclusions may be not ideal enough, I believe that this work should reflect some situation about Yizhou in early Tang dynasty at certain extent, then hence a positive promotion for the historical study of early Tang dynasty.
