| Portrait-painting is an important project in oil-painting, as well as an important field in technological and theoretical research of oil-painting. In the former research and works, because of the professional features and its initial conditions, the research on the portrait-painting used to focus on realistic and reproductive side, but not on the expressive way. However, in the artistic history, the expressive factors get on with the development of arts, meanwhile representation of oil-painting went through the whole history of oil portrait painting, in which both the traditional realistic oil portrait painting and the modern experimental one may find expressive factors. Expressive factors are inherent ones in oil portrait painting creative works, which are positive ones working along with realistic factors. |
