Portraiture is a kind of figure painting,according to the painter's different creation needs and expression techniques,divided into head,bust,full-length portrait and so on.In ancient China,traditional portraiture was called "vivid" or "pictorial",and by means of creation methods such as "writing the god with the form" and "transferring the charm",it was emphasized to depict the external characteristics and the inner charm of the characters,so as to achieve the effect of "both form and spirit".It requires the painter to make a real and vivid description of the appearance,body and clothing of the characters,so as to reflect the feelings of the painter himself.The author's insights are through people's every twinkle and smile,a lifting a foot between the observation and,in the nature gestation,people present a different style and temperament,the author from inspiration,with pen will be thoughts on paper.The article starts with portrait painting,combines the characteristics and techniques of Chinese contemporary meticulous figure painting,and analyzes the author's creation from the perspective of Ming dynasty portrait painting style.The purpose of this creation is not only to explore the use of artistic language such as facial shaping and skin texture,but also to highlight the character's charm through profound expression.
