| This paper will introduce Handel's music life though the comprehensive analysis of his oratorio---'Messiah'. The analysis will cover several perspectives: Handel's composition style and skills; Messiah's overall conception, structure, singing performance, climax process, emotion switch and artistry. Based on the above analysis, the spirit connotation of the work and the tough experience of Jesus will be further elaborated on. Overall, Handel spread the holy and profound sprit of Christianity to the people through his music work. The ideological contents and sprit pursue manifested by Messiah determined that this work would be able to comfort, encourage and move audience. |
