The Analysis Of Artistic Characteristics And Singing Of Aria In Oratorio"Messiah"

Handel was a rare musician in the history of European music at the end of the18~thh century?His Oratorio“Messiah”has loved and welcomed by the people??Rejoice greatly,O daughter of Zion!?is a widely sung soprano aria among Handle's messiah.This piece of music is a classic coloratura that is often covered by coloratura,which has typical characteristics of the baroque period.This paper considers?Rejoice greatly,O daughter of Zion!?as research object to analyze its artistic characteristics and singing.It is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction of the its creation background,the second part is the analysis of the music characteristics of the song,and the third part is the interpretation and analysis of the work based on my own experience and problem in my singing process.Through the combination of problem related to my learning of bel canto,this paper makes a detailed analysis of this music,and accurate grasp the overall style characteristics of Handel's vocal music works and Baroque period music work during the baroque period.
