The Middle East is located in the border of Asia Europe and Africa, the geographical position is special, the region has rich oil and gas reserves and play an important role in the world energy pattern.But the Middle East is never elysium of peace, races conflicts and religious conflicts are intricate, regional conflicts and wars are continuous, so the arms trades has been occupy the important position in the world. The Iraq war has produced significant influences in the Middle East, regional security structure has changed greatly, and the arms trades have been adjusted.The war has interrupted the recession trends of arms trade in the Middle East of pre-war, volume of arms trades, weapons structure of import and export, the markets of suppliers and recipient, regional arms export capacity have correspondingly changed. The major factors about influences of arms trades in the Middle East are concluded through the studying of these changes of arms trades.After the research of regional arms trades, to judge the trends in the future of arms trades through the studying the arms trades status, geopolitical environment, economic status, arms and military industry status of individual country in this region.Comprehensively the research of ever country in arms trades,to judge needs, supplies, structure of products, structures of suppliers and recipients, the developing trend in the future five years.Based on the above analysis, this paper also discusses the present situation of arms trades about China in the Middle East, and put forward the corresponding proposals of how to expand the participation.
