Peng Pai Farmers' Advocacy Work

Not only is he one of famous leaders at early of Communist Movement in China, Peng Pai is also called as a renowed chief of Peasant-movement, enjoying the reputation of agitator, publicist and organiser. At the beginning of 1920s, he launched a series of propaganda activity in rural area with features of local nature on the basis of rural reality and objective condition, which contributed to peasant-propaganda for the Communist Party. The target of the thesis is to analyse the content, form and method of the rural propaganda launched by Peng Pai, and then further to summarize the features, significance and inspiration of these activity by making use of integrating theory with practice and consulting a large number of historical documents.The body of the thesis is devided into five parts. The first part refers to the social background about peasant-proprganda arranged by Peng Pai, expounding the propulsive drive which have Peng Pai show great concer over the peasant-problem and peasant-propaganda. With the respect to the second part, the details of peasant-propaganda is given, including inspiring famers' consciousness and disseminating the tactics of struggle and the theory policy. The third part in the thesis introduces the form and method of the peasant-propaganda launched by Peng Pai, inclusive of publicity activities in various forms, such as education in school, typical sample and so on, all of which deepen the understanding forwards the content of propaganda. The characteristic of peasant-propaganda, as the manifest about Peng Pai's sophisticated propaganda-art, is talked over in the forth part. The influence and inspiration of peasant-propaganda is elaborated in the fifth part. The peasant-propaganda started by Peng Pai not only impelled the peasant-movement around the country, but also devote to further thoery about peasant-propaganda of the Communist Party. All Parties should draw lessons from the peasant-propaganda arranged by Peng Pai.
