Imperial System Under The Chinese Women's Status Changes

This paper,taking the changes of the women's status under the system of the emperor's power as the main research object. With the evolution of emperor's power system as a breakthrough,this paper analyzed the tendency of women's status from Qin dynasty to the Qing dynasty. The status of women is abundant in content, so this paper intercepted four mainly aspects which include the rights of participating in politics, economy, culture&education, marriage & family rights to research. On the basis of analyzing the life circumstance of ancient women who were living under the system of the emperor's power,than the paper tabled some proposals about how to improve the status of modern women.The paper consists of five parts,as following:The first part is on the reason of writing this paper,the significance of writing,the present researches about the the system of the emperor's power and the status of ancient women,the view and the main part of the paper,and the definition of some conceptions.The second part is mainly on expatiating the evolution of the emperor's power system and the status of women. There is a process which is from loose to strengthen in Chinese emperor's power system.As to the women's status,the paper chose four aspects such as political status, economic status, cultural & education status, marriage & family status and so on to introduce.The third part, the paper's main part,is on elaborating the relationship between the the system of the emperor's power and the status of women. We hold such views as the status of women is rather high when the imperial rule is loose while the status of women is rather low when the imperial rule is aggrandized.Therefore,the state of women's status is under the influence of social environment,especially the system of the emperor's power.The fourth part is about how to sum up the past and how to learn from the experience to improve the status of modern women.The aims of studying history is to make history as a mirror then to correct defects in real life.Studying on the changes of the women's status under the system of the emperor's power does good to learn from the experience and lessons and to ensure modern women's status be realized fully.In the fifth part,the paper will sum up the total paper's opinion.
