| Before the democratic reform in 1959,Tibet was a feudal serf dom under theocracy,and the three major landlords,accounting for less than 5 percent of the population,owned more than 95 percent of the means of production.The vast majority of serfs and slaves had long suffered from cruel exploitation and oppression by the se rf class,and the Tibetan serf women were the main objects of expl oitation.In old Tibet,the Thirteen and Sixteen Code of Law explic itly stipulated that women were not allowed to participate in the de liberation and administration of state affairs,and women were classi fied as inferior groups.In old Tibet,the fate of the majority of Ti betan women was extremely low,and they suffered from the oppre ssion of the regime,theocracy and husband’s power for a long time.Their personal rights were attached to the serf owners,and their ri ght to life and health could not be guaranteed,falling into a misera ble living state.With the peaceful liberation and democratic reform of Tibet,th e feudal serfdom under theocracy was completely abolished,and the life attachment between serf owners and serfs was removed.The v ast majority of serfs were liberated and became masters.With the f undamental transformation of the social system in Tibet,a revolutio nary change has taken place in the fate of the majority of Tibetan women.Women have gained equal rights with men in political,eco nomic,health and education,and their social and family status has been improved unprecedentedly.60 years,the strong leadership of t he party and the state and policy under the care,the broad masses of Tibetan women actively involved in the practice of the construc tion of socialist new Tibet,in politics,economy,culture,education,science and technology and other fields are playing a more and m ore important role in promoting the social and historical process rea lly hold up "half the sky".Due to its slow start in development an d great cultural differences,Tibet still has a long way to go compa red with the developed provinces and cities in eastern China.Comp ared with the developed eastern city,Tibetan women’s political pow er,economic power,education level,professional skills,etc.,especia lly the Tibetan rural women by the traditional concept of gender an d the influence of religion,they generally low level of education,h igh illiteracy rates,lack of production technology of life,therefore,need to further strengthen the guidance and policy support.Free and based on the marxist outlook on man’s all-round deve lopment as the foundation,in Lhasa Tibetan women S and Z villag e as the research object,using the method of questionnaire,intervie w method,field observation method,mathematical statistics and oth er research methods,from the perspective of marxist ethnic theory and policy,for Tibetan women in the social role of the family,ma rriage,autonomy,income,education level,skills training,health and other fields has carried on the investigation and study.In Lhasa T ibetan women S and Z village survey,Tibetan women’s social statu s,family status compared with old Tibet has had the revolutionary change,their most attention and participate in social public affairs,actively involved in the women’s federation organization activities,a ttach great importance to the education of children,families with hi gher financial control and decision-making power,they are to build a new socialist countryside and rural revitalization strategy of pow erhouse,Tibetan women’s social status and family status got improv ed significantly.However,Lhasa Tibetan women S and Z village b y deeply the influence of traditional concept of gender,religion,is still widely popular "men,tying the traditional division of labor patt ern,therefore,the husband is the main economic source of the fam ily and the family the main decision makers,women are low inco me and low education group,women’s social status and family stat us is lower than men.In order to promote the equality between men and women,nar row the development gap between urban and rural women,and pro mote the comprehensive and free development of Tibetan women,a ccording to the investigation of the author in S and Z villages of Lhasa,this paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions: First,to optimize the policy environment of more equality and improve the political status of Tibetan women;Second,we should improve t he living and development environment and promote the simultaneo us development of women and the economy and society.Thirdly,5.3.Optimize fair educational environment and improve women’s abili ty and quality.All in all,the author hopes that the Party and the s tate will continue to strengthen policy support to comprehensively i mprove the political,economic and knowledge skills of Tibetan wo men,so as to help them give full play to their talents and realize t heir dreams and dreams in the new era. |
