Study Of Legal Awareness Of The Local Society In Transition

The targets, such as, the rule of law, the construction of a harmonious society will always stay as political slogans unless they are under the help of the active participation and cooperation of the rural society, the rural society, without any doubt, become the key point and difficult point in the process of realization of the target listed above because of its involving a large area and a large population, and exhibiting the blending of traditions and modernity. Therefore, letting the law root and grow in the rural society becomes an indispensible topic righteousness and measure so as to lead the rural society to a legal orbit and regulate it from every aspect. In this process, the basic task should be done is to have a full understanding of it. Only by knowing the present situation of the legal awareness can the law lay a firm foundation in rural society and run well.According to the present research findings, academia has already realized that what they had known about the rural society in transition is no longer the one in the description of Fei Xiaotong. However, the legal awareness of it still draws only little attention even though the importance of the rural society in transition has already been noticed. It was mentioned only in the form of peasants'legal awareness to replace the awareness of whole rural society and the expressions on the peasants'legal awareness is very solidified which just attach more importance on the deep-rooted influence of traditional legal culture to the peasants'legal awareness. In the few copies of empirical study, it seems that they involve every aspect of rural society, but they lack of cultural deposit and interdisciplinary perspective. In the sociological studies of rural society in transition, they mentioned class differentiation which inspires and enlightens the author a lot. Therefore, the paper which is based on the previous study combines these backgrounds, the construction of socialist new countryside,the construction of socialist country ruled by law and the construction of a harmonious society, from the perspective of class differentiation in the rural society in transition. The paper selects agricultural labors, migrant workers and college-graduate village official these three typical classes as research objects and analyses their legal awareness. The purposes of this study is to detail the impression of academic circles to rural society, to exhibit the earthshaking changes of rural society in transition and to show the complexity and unevenness of legal awareness so as to remove difficulties and provide a wider and more available perspective for the academia.The conservative and rational legal awareness of agricultural labors, the muddled and helpless legal awareness of migrant worker and the concerned and awkward legal awareness of college-graduate village official as well as the complexity of the rule of law in rural society are all presented in this paper which impel every legal person deeply to feel their responsibility and mission. On this basis,point out that the transformation of rural society to improve the legal awareness of the "new socialist countryside","building a socialist rule of law","buliding a socialist harmonious society" significance.Finally,how to improve the transition of the local community awareness of the law has put forward some personal opinions, after all, this is a systematic, long-term, arduous task, as if to make modest am very pleased.
