Power To Protect Vulnerable Groups Of Migrant Workers Problems And Countermeasures

Migrant workers have been the main force of the urban development, they have made an indelible contribution in promoting a rapid growth of the market economy, promoting urbanization and industrialization. However, migrant workers still remains vulnerable groups of society. Compared with urban workers, their income levels, market competitiveness still lag behind. Moreover, the phenomenon that all the rights and interests of migrant workers lack has not been greatly improved.According to the latest data of "Research on migrant workers in 2009,"announced by National Bureau of Statistics on March 19, 2010, based on the comprehensive and objective analysis of data on migrant workers in the latest size, flow, and the rights and interests ,we find out that migrant workers are still vulnerable groups in society. The article also analyzes the rights of vulnerable groups of migrant workers missing, and puts forward to several countermeasures on strengthening the protection of migrant workers on their rights and interests.The first chapter is an introduction. It describes the research background and significance of this article, focusing on the domestic and foreign-related content on the existing research .This part provides an important reference document for us to understand and define the object of this paper.The second chapter analyses the dates of "Research on migrant workers in 2009,"it is a comprehensive and objective picture of the overall size of the current migrant workers and regional distribution, focused on the basic characteristics of migrant workers to go out, which is the paper's object. The part includes the current composition of migrant workers to go out, education, geographic and industry distribution. It also compares the workers'peasant income among all regions and sectors. This part is due to provide an important reference data for the second chapter to reference related data, the third chapter to analyze the reasons for lack of migrant workers'rights, the fourth chapter to solve the problem.The third chapter describes in detail the rights and interests lack of migrant workers at present, focusing on the migrant workers'status of missing on their right to vote, equal and free choice of employment, the right of labor remuneration, rest and vacation rights, skills training, social security rights and the children of migrant workers'right to education. This part uses some charts to better understand and intuitively identify the subject that migrant workers are still socially vulnerable groups, enhancing the article's convincing.Chapter IV analyzes the possible reasons for migrant workers'lacking of rights and interests. This part discusses four reasons in history, economy, institution and legal system.Chapter V puts forward to some solutions on solving the lack of migrant workers'rights and interests. On this basis, I believe that, to solve the problem of migrant workers, we must fundamentally change attitudes and perceptions of migrant workers. We must confirm the value of migrant workers at first. Urban residents must promote a new awareness and accept migrant workers. Secondly, we must attract migrant workers to the public. Corporate, community, particularly the government must give more care of migrant workers, protecting the rights of migrant workers in their respective areas .
