On The Cultivation Of Farmers' Modernity In The Construction Of New Countryside

Construction of "the development of production, the affluent life, the rural civilization, clean and tidy village and democratic management" is not just a matter of important economic problems in China’s socialist modernization development and a political issue of our democratic political construction constraints, it is a problem which is related to China’s social stability and the stability of the state. Therefore, to achieve the great goal of building a new socialist countryside, it’s not only to realize the modernization of China’s rural economy, industrialization, but also to improve the quality of the farmers, so that these farmers can actively take part in the modernization of the rural economy, politics and society. In this paper, the writer expect to study the farmers’ modern theories to explore the definition of modernity and how to development the modernity of farmers, so that it’s able to provided some helpful revelation to the new socialist countryside of our country.The article is divided into four parts. The first part is the definition of the people’s modernity,specifically to elaborate the human’s modernity, the relationships of modernity and modern and the modernity of farmers.In the second part, the writer analyzes the significance that by cultivating the farmers’ modernity can promote the construction of a new socialist countryside.To develop the farmers’ modernity can not only make farmers turn into the builders of our new socialist countrysides and contribute our countrysides’ democratic management but also can enhance the degree of our countrysides’ general mood.In the third part, the writer elaborate the problems and causes of the farmers’ modernity.At present,the problems include the following points. The level of farmers’ modernity falls behind our country’s modernization of the rural economy; the independent and self-awareness farmers’ development are weak; the farmers’ traditional consciousness is still very strong,the positive sense of participation is poor;the thinking of farmers is still more obvious and their awareness and ability to accept modern civilization is weak.The main causes of the problem include the following aspects.The rural economy isn’t developed;the degree of market-oriented rural areas is not high;the farmer’s education level is low and their scientific and cultural quality is not high;the farmers are still bound by traditional ideas and habits of thinking and the training system of education and training of farmers isn’t imperfect.In the fourth part,the writer discuss how to develop the farmers’ modernity in the context of new socialist countrysides.The main measures in solving the problem include the following points. Firstly, we must enhance our understanding and attach importance to our farmers’ modern problems.Our ideas can able to guide our action,the importance in the thinking is the power and source of our work. Secondly, we must develop the countrysides’ market economy and provide strong support and protection for the farmers’ modernity. Thirdly, the farmers must set up the new ways of thinking to provide a good environment for farmers’ modernity.Fourthly, we must actively promote the countrysides’ education reform.The high quality of education is a direct way and effective way to protect farmers’ modernity; Fifthly, we must develop the countrysides’ public culture positively,and set up the connection in education and entertainment. By sending the culture of urban to the countrysides to make the farmers learn in the entertainment.
