The CPC 's Understanding And Policy On Religious Issues In The Early Period Of Reform And Opening - Up

There a relationship between religions issue and national unity. Both in history and the current period, it is significant that deal with religious issues properly. Since the establishment of the Chinese Communist, no matter in view of the overall work, or the policy of dealing with religions issue, it has always been put in the first position in each historical period. In the new period of reform and opening-up, Chinese Communist based on Deng Xiaoping theory to insist on seeking the truth from facts and advancing with the times, and step by step to correct the error about Chinese religions, and carry out the various religious policies comprehensively. Facing the new situation in the new period, Chinese Communist had always insisted on the basic principle of Marxism-Leninism on religion and seeking truth from facts, and puted forward new understanding,new ideas and new polices about religion and the religious questions, and improved the ability of perceiving and handling religious questions.The article mainly includes three parts except the introduction. The introduction mainly includes the meaning of selecting the topic,the situation of researching the topic, the methods of researching and the structure of the thesis and so on, and summarize of the background of creation. In the fllowing, the first chapter described the development of Chinese Communist’s religious policies. It combed Chinese Communist’s religious policies before and during the founding of new China and the preform and opening up. And Chinese Communist’s religious understanding and religious policies in various periods were summarized. Then, the early new domestic economic situation and social situation and the new and complex problems in the reform and opening up are described briefly. The second chapter is the key part of this paper. First of all, it was described that Chinese Communist corrected the errors of the basic idea and the policies about religion in new period of reform and opening-up. It made Chinese religions’develop healthy. Then, it was discussed that Chinese Communist’s new understanding of Chinese religions and the religious problems in our country, and new ideas about dealing with the religious problems, mainly includes the meaning of religion, the the religion’s characteristics in socialism period and the nature and so on. Finally, it was discussed that Chinese Communist put forward in time actively guide religions adapting themselves to the new religious problems in China in the new historical conditions, and form a new ideas, new methods, and create a new situation of religious work during the new period of reform and opening to the outside of the history. In the third chapter,it was discussed that the history of the religious work’s experience, the main problems existing in the Chinese religious work and some thoughts on strengthening Chinese religious work in the further.
