Ecological civilization as the same as material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization, has gradually become an important symbol to measure a country’s overall development. The socialist material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization is inseparable from the support of ecological civilization, without the good ecological environment, people can not have high material and spiritual enjoyment. In today’s world, with the accelerating process of globalization, ecological problem has become a hot problem we are concerned. Facing the serious ecological crisis, we need to study Marx’s thought of ecological civilization, and to explore its contemporary value. The 18 th Chinese Communist Party Congress put forward the construction of ecological civilization to the "five-in-one" height of national social development general layout which based on the 17 th Chinese Communist Party Congress first proposed the foundation of ecological civilization construction.
