Study On Ecological Civilization Thought Of Marx And Engels

This paper critically assimilates the essence of Chinese and foreign academic thinking on ecological civilization with the classics of Marx and Engels as the basis and combined with the theory and practice of contemporary ecological civilization construction of China. It systematically expounds the ecological civilization ideas of Marx and Engels by the unity of logic and history and combination of system theory and dialectic method and strives to provide theoretical support and practical information for china.First, it discusses the formation and development of Marx and Engels'ideas about ecological culture. It analyzes its social conditions, class conditions, scientific and cultural conditions and its sprout, formation and development. Second, it describes its basic connotation. It systematically expounds on the eco-civilization thought of Marx and Engels from ecological worldview, ecological values and ecological aesthetics. The ecological outlook of Marxism includes the main eco-concept, the dialectical concept of ecology and the harmonious viewpoint of ecology. The ecological values of Marxism include ideas of co-prosperity of human and ecological environment, the long-term development orientation for the well-being of all mankind and the standard of harmony between man and the natural environment. This paper elaborates the essence and characteristics of ecological beauty on the basis of Marx and Engels'discussion, and puts forward the importance and standard of ecological beauty. Third, it analyzes its basic features, namely, human mature, science, openness and practicality. Among them, practicality is the most fundamental characteristic, human nature is the core philosophy, science is the essential feature and openness is the theoretical style. In short, Marx and Engels thought of ecological civilization is an organic unity of practice-based human nature, science and openness.
