A Study On The Distortion Of Government In China

As the three functions of government statistics data to macro management: to provide information, consultation and supervision, it is a very important issue to ensure the quality of government statistics and amend the distortion of government statistics for both the statistics departments and the government. The problem of distortion of government statistics has been long-standing in our country, even a series of reforms had been taken on it by the statistics departments and the government, shows a trend of becoming more and more generalized, complicated and intensified. Combining with the study on the process of government statistics, this paper analyzes the performance and the internal causes of the distortion of government statistics deeply. And then it proposes some forward-looking countermeasures and suggestions to solute the distortion of government statistics.
