US Department Of Defense And The Normalization Of Sino - US Relations (1969-1980)

In the late 1960 s, coping with the change of international situation and the need of national interest, the U.S. Government begin to seek channels to improve relations with China.This paper is mainly on the historical background that normalization of Sino-U.S. relations, analyse the activities that United States Department of Defense to China for the Sino-U.S. diplomatic relations in a turning period.
