Russia across Eurasia continent,special natural environment and development process have shaped the unique thought culture and characteristic political tradition of the Russian.Since the 19 th century, the Russian ideology had launched several rounds of debate on their own national identity and the relationship between Russia and the West. This controversy lasted for more than a century therefor format the three major schools of Russian social Thought: Western, Slavism and the Eurasianism. The three major schools of thought have been developing and evoluting, and still have important influence on Russias foreign policy formulation and practice.After the end of the cold war, Russian foreign policy experienced several times of transition and adjustment, from the beginning of the Yeltsin administration pursued the "one-sided" Pro western policy, development to the later period of the administration of the full range, multi polarization diplomacy. Putin came to power after the further inheritance and development of the Yeltsin years later established diplomatic policy tone, experimenting with Western improvement effect is not ideal,to further strengthen the importance of the Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS) and the Asia Pacific region, and after the beginning of 2012 individual third term as president of the United States, officially to promote the transformation of a new round of diplomatic Russia, Eurasian integration strategy and strategy in the Asia Pacific region is raised to an unprecedented height and soft power construction will be included in the focus of the work of the Russian foreign.Russia is an important neighbor of China in the north, but also a key node in the Silk Road Economic Zone along the country. Russia a new round of diplomatic transition to and the Silk Road economy with the overall construction, benefit outweigh the disadvantages, objectively contributed to between China and Russia on the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union of joint cooperation agreement reached. At the same time, taking into account Russia still exist some differences in cultural tradition and realistic interests, for possible future cooperationbetween the two countries in the related fields in question, China should also be fully prepared.
