An Empirical Study On The Operation Of The People 's Jury System At The Basic Level

Today in promoting the rule of law, the implementation of people’s jury system is important because it means the judicial democracy, to ensure the referee fair, enhance the public’s confidence in judicial, promote judicial public, it’s also the necessary means to prevent the judicial corruption. People’s jury system in our country reform pilot projects on the implementation of a year, Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu and other 10 provinces and municipalities, a total of 50 court, according to the third and fourth plenary session of the 18 on people’s jury system reform work deployment,in combination with actual trial around the work, safe and orderly reform pilot project in an all-round way. Around formulated the detailed work plan and related systems respectively, and practical implementation of the system, making people’s juror system reform pilot work achieved positive results, for across the country to carry out the reform of people’s jury system has carried on the beneficial attempt and exploration.
