Dalian Airport To Establish A Number Of Issues Of Regional Aviation Hub, Hong Kong

The main subject of this thesis is the construction of Dalian Zhou Shui Zi International Airport, including to build the regional hub airport and further develop and especially analyses the current conditions of Dalian Zhou Shui Zi International Airport, predicts the future business of Dalian air-traffic, and demonstrates how to select the location of a long term new airport and bring the potential capacity of the current airport into full play during the transition of the Airport. Simultaneously It exclusively demonstrates some feasible ways to develop non-aviation business and propel the process of the commercialization of the Airport. In addition it also analyses the transition of management system of the airport thoroughly. Its theoretical value is to demonstrate that it important to build a regional international air-traffic hub in an international urban of Dalian and clear to locate its future trend. It clarifies the pattern of Dalian Airport in the short medium and long term, how to construct it and how to make the operating mechanism now meet the established practice of current international airports. Its practical value is to change the developmental research of Dalian Airport from of its own importance to of the importance of the functional development of the city, so as to build an air-traffic center system in North China step by step. The thesis focuses on the following items: I. Discuss the short-term construction scale of the airport and how to design the overall arrangement. 2. Study the business development in the short and medium terms and the location of the industrial development in the adjacent areas. 3. Discuss the chances, challenge and measures to realize the transition of the management system of the airport and the mechanism of operation and run scale economy. The thesis draws the conclusions below: I. It urgent and necessary to build a regional international air-traffic hub in the city of Dalian; 2. Deploy the potential of current airport fully, and select the location of the new airport carefully; 3. It profitable to develop business in the adjacent areas of an urban airport by using resources available; 4.put forward the short-term three tasks and ten operation targets of Dalian airport I hope that this thesis be theoretically helpful for supervisors of an airport to decide the strategy of self-developing, and also a reference to government or relative department officials in making investment decisions.
