During the past 20 years, the private enterprise has make a remarkable achievement. The private enterprises have contributed much to the progress of the national economy and have stimulated the domestic market. Given the fact that private sectors are taking an increasingly important position in the national economy, it is reasonable to say that maintaining the current momentum of private enterprises will determine the growth of the Chinese economy in the next century.Although private enterprises have progressed impressively in recent years, they are still faced with many unfavorable factors which constitute a major threat to their sustained growth. In view of those problems, the paper, beginning with analysis of the reasons which leads the private enterprise to difficult position. It seems to me that there are some major reasons for the fall of the most private enterprise:often these companies rely too much on a single, strong leader and the enterprise often have clannish management with no supervisor mechanism in place, and the private enterprise is not treated equally with the state-owned enterprises, the private enterprise do not enjoy an equally competitive market climate. The lack of financial support from financial institutions is another factor choking the progress of private enterprise, etc.Based on above discuss, the paper puts forward following opinions: If they want to achieve sustained growth, the private enterprise must innovate constantly, from property right to management. At the same time, the government must provide service to them and guide them.
