Since China has been carrying out the Rcform and Opening-up Policy, classpolarization has become one of the most prominent changes in social stratum in theprpeess of poitical and econolnic structural reforms. This wide spread and intenseclass polarrization, lasting over 20years, has revolutboized the Chinese socicalstratum. However, this process has not yet come to a halt. With the furtherdevelopment of Chinese socialistic Market Economy Reform, in particulary with theforth coming Neo-knowledge Economy, Class Polarization will still play animportant role in every aspects of socical life, espccially in the construction anddevelopment of Chinese democracy.Thc prcscnt thcsis is just an attcinpt to probe into the trends of ClassPolarization in China and its influences upon political dcvelopment from thepcrspcctivc of Class Polarization in Markct Economy.The thesis is divided into three parts: Part One is a theoretrcal analysis of ClassPolarization. Part two deals with the phenomenon of Class polarization in ChineseMarket Economy. Part three is focused on the relation between Class polarization andpolitical development.
