| The article analyses the difference of the economic results of star ated hotels among 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities by using the methods of factor and cluster analysis tostatistical yearbook on tourism in 1996. First, through the principal component analysis the seven indexes on hotel are synthesized into two types. On this base, commenting the situations of hotels of different provinces. Then, through the cluster analysis, hotels are classified into four kinds of different levels according to the economics benefits. In the meanwhile, it shows the reasons why they have differences in the economics benefits of hotels. And, this paper applies TOPSIS method of multiobjective decision analysis to synthetically estimate the economic profits of hotels. |
