A fine new marketing concept, cybermarketing or online marketing, is becoming one of the most important means of marketing as the result of the rapid development of internet, which has changed the traditional marketing patterns greatly in recent years. To be brief, cybermarketing, based on the computer network technique and digital interactive multimedia technique, is the marketing strategy enabling the enterprises to contact with customers directly to provide special products and services, by means of which the specific demands of customers will be met.During the whole marketing process, from the customers' first access to acquire the information of the products and services provided to the last bargain, the web is playing a very important role. In fact, the web design is such a crucial part of cybermarketing that we can never overestimate it. Although we can get many books and papers concerning the computer and network techniques involved in web design, little attention has been paid to the web design starting from the cybermarketing. At the same time, most of the domestic enterprises' webs are not very satisfying and there is still a long way to go for the webs to executive all the functions they possess, such as inducing, inspiring, absorbing and bargaining. The main purpose of my thesis is to combine the cybermarketing theory with the computer and network techniques to provide the domestic enterprises with some strategies and means that can be used for reference during the building of a web site. In the first chapter, the basic theory of cybermarketing is introduced briefly, together with the presentation of several main cybermarketing modes used widely in the world. An overview of an enterprise's web site is presented in chapter 2, along with a case of Everest Advertising agency. In the third chapter, the web design process based on the cybermarketing is elaborated. Then in the last chapter, the services provided by Dell and CISCO are analyzed in detail in the hope of its being beneficial to the domestic enterprises.
