Network Era Of Civil And Political Participation Research

Modern society is going to the Network times. Networks are affecting people life in many aspects, also created the new channel and space. The citizen political participation is entering a new stage not only in subjective desire but also in objective possibility. It has positive sense to discuss the questions of citizen political participation under the circumstance of new times. This thesis tries to discuss the contents of political participation and the different understanding which the Chinese and foreign scholars in different countries which have different systems of the government do, also discuss the main forms of the political participation, thus go a step further to discuss the changing and impact by comparing them in new times in which net is regarded as its feature and particularly analyzes the effects to democracy with the development of citizen participation. The whole text is consisted of three chapters .The first is the theoretical statement of the political participation and network times including the definition, the motive, the function, the form, and the development and the introduction of the network and the feature of it. The second chapter is the influence that the coming of network times will do to the citizen political participation and the new change of citizen political participation in the network times. The most important content is the thinking of the political participation at network times. The third chapter is consisted of the guide and the regulation of the political participation.
