As the whole of our society comes into the new?ecnomy time, which base on information and webs, finance, which play a more and more important role in the social economy, becomes more open and active. In the global acre, to meet with the need of such changes, most of the commercial banks have no other chioce but to carry on the finacial reform and innovation. in the meantime in our country, financial innovation, which lead by the new梕conomy, also becomes the main aspect of the time. For their survival and development, all kinds of th~ commercial banks expand their competition scope from the traditional business to modern business. In order to scramble more and more market share, the commercial banks extand competition to the larger field and higher level. The four State梠wned commercial banks, grown from the specialized banks, are also undergoing the great changes now. They have to face the keen competition and gradually run commercially. How will the state梠wned commercial banks adjust their competition strategic plan in the more and more keen competition? When the nation joins the VITO, how will the state梠wned commercial banks analyse their present situation , change their market planning and grasp the chances to meet with the challenges? I~n this thesis, in the view of competition strategy, the writer will analyzes the problems such as the state梠wned commercial banks?development stages of competition strategy, the present difficulties, the inner and outer enviroment of competition, surperior and inferior competition position, the strategic situation, as well as some essential probloms in the competion, From the analysis, the writer wili try to recomrnand some feasible competition strategic plan to State梠wned commercial banks, and give some constructive opinons on how to insure and prectise the strategy.
