Property System Of State-owned Commercial Banks

ABSTRACT This thesis makes a systematic and overall analysis on the Property Rights system of china抯 Stated-owned Commercial Bank, by applying some of theories and researching methods of modem Property Rights Economics. It begins with the formation, transition, and basic characteristics of the Property Right System of Chinese State-owned Commercial Banks. From both the positive and negative sides, this thesis give an objective and overall assessment on the Proper Rights System抯 function of Chinese Stated-owned Commercial Banks during it抯 transferring period. The general trend of the Proper Rights System in Chinese state-owned commercial Banks was provided on the basis of consulting with the experiences and lessons of the western counties, also associating with china抯 reforming on national economy. Basing on the above analysis, the author offers his ideas and opinions on this issue in order to provide some references to the related policy-making department. The main ideas of this thesis are as following: most of problems of State-owned Commercial Banks lie in its capital structure, which binds the further commercialization of the banks; State-owned Commercial Banks should start from Share-holding Structure, then reform it according to Share-holding system, establish the effective property system and construct a state-owned bank system in which mainly are Conglomerate Banks whose share is controlled by the state.
