Strait Sme Financing Comparative Study

Since World War II, the roles of middle-small sized enterprises have been emphasized more and more, and middle-small sized enterprises are thus developing rapidly. Their status in the social economy is becoming more and more important. Within less than half a centuty Taiwan has transformed from a backward agricultural into a modem industrial society. Though the reasons for its development are various, it has no objection that the support to the middle-small sized enterprises is very important. The middle-small sized enterprises in Taiwan have their own development model. Since the policy of Opening and Innovation, middle-small sized enterprises in Mainland also have a rapid developments but it faces lots of questions meanwhile. The prominent one of them is the difficulty of financing which is resisting the further development of the middle-small sized enterprises. To resolve the problem, the government begins to make some policies in order to lead the capitals flowing into the middle-small sized enterprises. Relevant sections, for example, National Economy & trade Committee, People's Bank of China, National Tax Bureau, have made some specific measures and advantage policies to set up the middle-small sized enterprises credit guarantee system. This article uses the basis theory and analytical instruments of modern economics, financing, and investment, and combines macro-analysis with micro-analysis, qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. Its logical frame is the present situations and future outlets of the financing of middle-small sized enterprises. It begins with the definition and theory basis of middle-small sized enterprises, takes as mirror the successful experiences and history lessons of middle-small sized enterprises in Taiwan. It emphasizes the current developing situations, characteristics, and restraining conditions of middle-small sized enterprises?financing. In the end, the author tries to put forward her own schemes to solve the above difficulties and questions in order that the government may take them as the reference in making financial policies of middle-small sized enterprises.
