With the development of market economy and implementation of reform on national medical system, there will be a fierce competition in the medical market. After the china entry into World Trade Organization, domestic medical enterprises will be faced with not only new opportunities but also new challenges. Therefore, it is urgent for medical enterprises to do research on the competition and development strategy in order to exist and develop further. In this paper, combined with practice, some research work has been done on the above problems according to the strategy of enterprises, marketing, organic behavior, information system in management and so on. 1 .Having analyzed the current situation, especially the current sales situation of Dalian Chinese Medicine Group (DCMG), this paper point out the main difficulties and existing problems. 2.An investigation has been made on the external environment DCMG. Base on the investigation and study, by means of average developing, this paper analyzes and forecasts market volume in Dalian in the next 5 years according to the date from 1996?999. Finally, opportunities and challenges confronting DCMG have been found out. 3.In the light of internal environmental factors influencing DCMG, advantages and disadvantages has been summarized. This paper analyzes the sales and market volume, and predicts the situation in the following 5 years according to the date from 1996? 999.Besides, by means of SWOT, aimed at the opportunities and challenges, this paper combines the advantages and disadvantages and makes a strategic choice. 4. By using enterprises strategy and marketing, which includes such theories as division co market, choice of target market, market competition strategy and development strategy, and overall development mode, this paper studies the market competition strategy and overall development strategy, then makes a strategic choice, and finally determines that emphasis of DCMG should be laid on the market competition strategy and enterprise development strategy. 5.According to the marketing development strategy of DCMG, this paper, based on the DCMG current situation, studies and makes some practical measures. This paper, on the basis of theory and on the spot investigation, makes a constructive attempt on the solution to DCMG existence and development, and puts forward some helpful suggestions in the hope of making contributions to raising enterprise economic profits.
