On The System Of Election

The electoral system is the foundation and major composing part of democratic politics. This thesis studies the electoral system from three aspects, namely, the general theory of electoral system, the present condition of the Chinese electoral system, and the consideration to improvement of the Chinese electoral system. Lt emphasizes on expounding teat the electoral system is the outcome of the development of economy, politics, and culture, and that the development of the electoral system should be adapted to historical stage of economy, politics and national conditions. The improvement of. the Chinese electoral system should start from the economy, politics, culture and civil qualities of the initial stage of socialism, take practical and effective measures and avoid unpractical Impetuosity.
