In the thesis, the author probes into the start, the motive and cause, the contents, the nature, and the trend of the globalization by means of Marx's World History Theory comprehensively. The paper includes the preface and three parts. In the preface, the author mainly introduces some conditions of the globalization already researched by academic circles recently, and point outs the theory which the paper is based on ---Marx's World History Theory.Part one concerns the historical process of development of the globalization. According to Marx's World History Theory, the author expounds that the globalization is a historical concept, starts from the mass production of capitalism, and has been developing with it. So far. it passes three stages. The first one is from the start of mass production of capitalism to the forming of the colonial system between the last stage of the 19th century and the early stage of the 20th century. The second one is from World War I to 1970s.The third one is from 1970s to today And, the leading force is mainly the developed countries of capitalism among the .three stages of the globalization. But, in the every phase of constant developing of the globalization, the leading force varies from strength to weakness, from single-pole to multi-poles with the changes of political and economical conditions. The globalization in which the capitalism is dominant goes to the generality from theparticularity, ---the globalization goes to one of non-capitalism*from one led by capitalism; the globalization goes to two ways from one way, ---western developed countries expanding to eastern developing countries turns into mutual action between the west and the east. The motive and cause of the globalization is the development of the mass production of socialization led by the science and technology. The globalization is the inherent and necessary requirement of the development of productive forces, and the outcome that the mass production of socialization goes toward the world. The second part is concerned with the basic contents and nature of the globalization. The author thinks the globalization not only includes the economical globalization but also the political globalization, the cultural globalization, globalization of law etc. The globalization is the process of the universal communication in which the mankind goes beyond the obstacle of time and space, and contacts with, influences and conditions each other in the fields of the economy, the politics, the culture and the law etc in the sphere of global. So far, the globalization doesn't specially belong to the capitalism in nature although the capitalism is dominant in the process of the globalization, because the globalization shouldn't be titled with not only the capitalism but also the socialism, it is a process of an objective history that is pushed by the productivity of modernization on the platform of modern science and technology in the sphere of the global. According to the Marx's World History Theory, the globalization is the process in which the mankind entersthe realm of freedom from the one of necessity, and is the one of universal social activities that the whole mankind gradually takes part in. So, we can't define the quality of globalization as one of capitalism simply and directly. In part three, the author explains the trend of the development of the globalization in the future. The author tries to elaborate the sphere of the globalization becomes wider and wider, and the degree of it becomes higher and higher with higher and higher degree of productive socialization and more and more universal inter-communication of the people. In turn, the development of the globalization also promotes the great growth of the productivity and the universal communication, and changes the social relations and the cultural psychology of the people, which lays some foundations of the material, social relations, and cultural psychology for the reality of communism. And, the author points out the inherent contradictions of...
