With the development of the state economy, our enterprises are confronting great challenge derived from internationalization of the domestic market and development of the domestic market and development of technologies. To further enhance the competitiveness of their product, improve the market shares, and increase cost-effectiveness, the enterprises are concentrating on the study of their strategy so as to prepare and implement an effective plan to make full use of its own advantages and to react promptly to the changes.This article has adopted the knowledge and experience of modern management and taken the current situation, politics and economy etc. into consideration when the competitive strategy of Nanjing Oriental Chemical Industry Company Ltd. is analyzed and studied in detail. In the article, many practical data and documents have sufficiently proved to prepare and implement the competitive strategy.This article, firstly, analyses the conditions of caprolactam's supply and demand , also it does some market prediction of caprolactam . Secondly, on the basis of analyzing internal and external environments of our business and finding our advantageous and disadvantageous position, it puts forward the company's competitive strategy and tactics for people engaged in business development and marketing in our plant.
