Position compensation means that employees obtain compensation because of working in their position. Position compensation design is designing compensation on the basis of position analysis. This dissertation is a discussion on about how to design position compensation. Position compensation design is, on the basis of scientific position setting and position sort classifying, through position analysis, position appraisal and employee ability appraisal, compensation researching and analysis, designing position compensation separately.This dissertation is put forward on the basis of reform of traditional rank salary system, and on the condition of the presently study of enterprise compensation management. It is a systematical study on position compensation design with both the positivism analysis and the theoretical analysis. In theoretical analysis, this dissertation studies relative classical theory and new compensation theory which is studied by academy and enterprise presently. This dissertation focuses on defining position compensation and position compensation design. It gives a detailed explanation and analysis on the structure of position compensation, design principle, design major idea and design process. In the positivism analysis, this dissertation focuses on analyzing different positions' compensation design concretely.This dissertation is a study on position compensation design with sorts of theory of position management and the compensation, established in the fact of position management and compensation design in the enterprises. It aims to make practical function for managers.
